A full-length parody of Taken is in the works

Just don’t tell Liam Neeson. He will find you, and he will kill you.

“I DON’T KNOW who you are. I don’t know what you want…”

The world just can’t get enough of Liam Neeson’s badass CIA agent Bryan Mills, who will be returning to our screens for a third time next year in Taken 3.

As well-respected as Neeson may be, the film is pure, unadulterated cheese; it’s no surprise then that a full-length parody movie is also in the works.

What will it be called? Tooken. Genius, really.

According to Deadline the parody will follow the style of the Naked Gun films, and production will begin this summer.

It’ll be based on this spoof trailer for Taken 3 – Back To Normal, which features heavy use of Liam Neeson’s oft-quoted monologue:

We do hope there’s a mention of the ridiculous amounts of goofy running the daughter does in the original film.

UPDATE: Reader bobdebilde has pointed out that the star of the trailer above is none other than Timothy V. Murphy, who played Conor Sheehy in Glenroe. Yes, the lad Biddy had an affair with. Hasn’t he come up in the world?
